Although here at Dutchpot we now enjoy modern methods of food preparation, we have gone to great lengths to ensure we retained all the authentic exciting flavours, with a little added modern twist. All food is prepared daily, and many items are slow cooked. Our menu has all the hallmarks of traditional Jamaican cooking with all the variety of their diverse heritage from the tubers from Africa, North Sea and so on. Well known dishes like Curried Goat and Oxtail are served alongside less familiar dishes such as succulent Escoviech cooked slowly and simmered to perfection. Our appetizers and hors d'oeuvres are so tasty you can easily eat enough of them that only the tape measure helps you to realize they were just starters and not the main course. Our coconut starters are an unbeatable talking point and our callaloo and plantain fritters are easy on the pocket and the palate.
